Associate Director

Public Affairs (Healthcare)

Are you a leader in healthcare public affairs who is looking for the next big role?  At Lexington we are looking for an ambitious, experienced and enthusiastic Associate Director to help join the leadership team of our award-winning healthcare practice, work across our range of brilliant UK and global clients, and support our continued growth.

In this role you will be a key leader within the health team, heading up campaigns to help solve some of the sector’s biggest healthcare challenges. We work right across the healthcare sector, with innovative HealthTech and global pharma companies, passionate patient groups, and leading trade bodies. We deliver award-winning campaigns to raise awareness, drive behaviour change and deliver successful outcomes for our clients. From generating patient case studies and data-led media campaigns, through to profiling the positive impact of new technology with policy makers, Lexington is at the forefront of healthcare communications and public affairs.

We are looking for candidates with prior experience of leading public affairs programmes in the life sciences sector, either in-house or from another agency. You will join a friendly team where there will be significant opportunities for career development. In return, we offer an industry-leading package and the chance to be a leader in a team of dynamic, talented individuals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead on key public affairs and integrated PA/PR accounts across a range of different areas

  • Take a leading role in new business activity and marketing, including seeking out new leads, drafting proposals and leading in new business pitches

  • Develop campaigns to deliver tangible policy change

  • Act as day-to-day lead on project implementation

  • Manage the delivery of Lexington Health events

  • Line management and mentorship to help team members reach their full potential

How to apply

At Lexington, we believe in creating an inclusive work environment with a diverse workforce. We will give proper consideration to all qualified applicants without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial, informal interview and, if successful, will be invited for a second interview which will include a written task or presentation.
